Partner Institutions

Five kinds of partner, one loop

SchoolMission doesn't run projects, teach classes, or employ students. Our partners do. We connect them and keep the record.

  • NGOs and community organizations — Ghana

Host projects and supervise fellows. If you already run community work in Ghana, you're already doing most of what a host does. You gain supervised hands during school breaks and a verified record of the work.

  • Senior high schools — Ghana

Honor SchoolMission vouchers at the counter — tuition, meals, textbooks — and are reimbursed in full by mobile money. Any senior high school in Ghana can register.

  • Churches and missions

Send missionaries and teams to development projects in Ghana, host fellows on those projects, and verify their work. Send chaplains and mentors to the Conference. For US congregations, this is also where the funding loop begins: your students' summer earnings support the ministry at home in Ghana.

  • Summer camps — United States

Employ SchoolMission staff for the summer season. A share of what those staff earn funds the credit pool, so camps become funding partners for education in Ghana through their staff's earnings, not their own budget.

  • Test-prep organizations and academic counselors

Present at Next Steps: what the exams ask, how to prepare, how to choose a course and apply. If you help students get to the next step, there's a room full of fellows who need exactly that.

See the loop in seventy-five minutes

Before a single student is placed, we can run the whole model as a workshop with your students, teachers, and supervisors. Students take on a real community challenge, complete structured tasks, submit them to a supervisor who assigns credits, convert the credits to vouchers, and redeem them with their teachers — the loop closes in the room, and the last part is reflection: what felt fair, what didn't, where the confusion was. Fifteen to twenty students, two or three teachers, one or two supervisors; we bring the materials. It's the fastest way for a school or mission to decide whether it wants to be part of the loop.
